I’ve been away from the blog for a while.  Book chapters, classes, babies–these things will distract a gal.  As I get back to writing on pop media, I thought I’d try my hand at a new format: the “listicle.”

After watching Marvel’s blockbuster ballad of Bucky and Steve, some troubling similarities to Disney’s celebration of sisterly love are now stuck in my head. Do you see the overlaps too or should I just “let it go?”
